TRAnscended Crystal Light

Pentecost

Pentēkostē [hēmera], the Fiftieth [day]
 

An Eastern Orthodox Icon of Pentecost. This is the Icon of the Descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles. At the bottom is an allegorical figure, called Kosmos, which symbolizes the world.
